Messy Church

Messy Church at Keston

What is it?

Messy Church is an attempt to be church for families who might want to meet Jesus, belong to their local church and bring up their children as Christians but can’t cope with traditional Sunday morning church services. Since starting in Portsmouth, it is now happening in over 100 churches across the country.

It is a time of creativity (the messy part!), worship and eating together for the whole family – children, parents & grandparents.

Messy Church at Keston is to begin its new run on Tuesday 5th March 2024 as part of our outreach to the children and families of our community. It’s an exciting opportunity.

It will be in the Church Hall, starting at 3.30 pm with welcome and a crafts and games session, through to about 4.45pm, when there will be a short act of worship with songs and a talk, in the church. Followed by high tea back in the hall, to end at 6pm.

If you and your family are interested in taking part in Messy Church in the future please contact Martin on 01689 857673 or by email at [email protected]
