Messy Church

Messy Church has arrived at Keston

Unfortunately, after a long and successful period of Messy church at Keston,
the events of the pandemic and the introduction of many more
after schools clubs in the area, we have had to make the hard decision of permanently cancelling Messy Church.

What is it?

Messy Church is an attempt to be church for families who might want to meet Jesus, belong to their local church and bring up their children as Christians but can’t cope with traditional Sunday morning church services. Since starting in Portsm, it is now happening in over 100 churches across the country.

It is a time of creativity (the messy part!), worship and eating together for the whole family – children, parents & grandparents.

The next Messy Church at Keston is to  be on Tuesday 7th April 2020 as part of our outreach to the children and families of our community. It’s an exciting opportunity.

It will be in the Church Hall, starting at 3.30 pm with welcome and a crafts and games session, through to about 4.45pm, when there will be a short act of worship with songs and a talk, in the church. Followed by high tea back in the hall, to end at 6pm.

If you and your family are interested in taking part in Messy Church in the future please contact Martin on 01689 857673 or by email at [email protected]

If you would be willing to help with Messy Church please also contact Martin.
