KestFest on Keston Village Green
Formally known as “Countryside Day” the newly coined Keston Village Festival (KestFest) took place on Keston village Green on Saturday 24th June.
It was a great day, promoted as a celebration to bring family and friends together, with live entertainment, food stalls, shopping stalls and stalls offering games with plenty of fun on offer.
Amongst all the other stalls and events taking place that afternoon, Keston Church had our usual offering of Tombola, games and plenty of volunteers to chat with visitors. In particular, the bottle tombola proved to be very popular with the grown ups, as was the sweetie pot tombola for children!
Children also enjoyed playing with the Giant Connect 4 that the church provided for free, even by those who had to be lifted up to post the rings in.
Free Christian prayer cards and other material was also available for those that wanted it.
The prayer card stand has now been moved into the church.
